A popular Connecticut restaurant with a well-known sister on Martha's Vineyard is closing a year after its opening.
Hartford County Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta, located on West Main Street in Avon, said on Facebook that its last day would be Sunday, June 9.
The restaurant, known for mixing pasta with all kinds of fresh seafood, veggies, and more, didn't offer a reason for closing.
Fans of the restaurant were dismayed and took to Facebook to express their sadness.
"So sorry to hear this .. your food is delicious!!!" said one.
Another wrote: "Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear this. Your food is unique and delicious! I won’t be able to get there for dinner before you close."
The menu featured such favorites as fettuccini Alfredo, lobster ravioli, and shrimp scampi. Diners were encouraged to share the large portions.
The restaurant owner said he is not sure where they will be this summer or what will happen in the future. They are searching for solutions.
So, stay tuned. Jimmy Seas Pan Pasta might reopen in another spot.
